Industrial designer in Chicago.
I’m Sebastián Boloña, an industrial designer based in Chicago. I design products people work with, from benchtop power tools to everyday products, and I take them from first sketch through 3D CAD, KeyShot renderings and prototype testing.
(01) Story
I earned my B.S. in Industrial & Product Design at The Ohio State University. Right after graduating, I joined Techtronic Industries (TTI) in Anderson, South Carolina, for my first industrial design internship, working on Ryobi, RIDGID, Black Max and Hart.
At Delta Power Equipment I was one of the lead industrial designers for RIDGID’s NEXT benchtop/stationary power equipment line. I went on to work as an Industrial Designer II at Awaken Koala and as an Industrial/Product Designer at Cloud Accel. Since June 2026 I’ve been at Milescraft, working in design and technical product documentation.
